Manor AG is the largest department store chain in Switzerland, offering a modern and seamless shopping experience through its network of physical stores, as well as online and mobile platforms.

 

With more than 60 locations across the country, Manor AG sells a wide variety of products — from groceries to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items. To better support its large network of suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, the company decided to move to Microsoft Dynamics 365, aiming to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and respond more effectively to business needs.

 

Transforming the Supply Chain End-to-end

 

 

Today, Manor AG runs on a fully integrated ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, built on cloud technology. This move has brought greater flexibility, scalability, and visibility into their operations.

Given the scale and complexity of the business, the project has brought several key challenges:

 

  • Maintaining system stability and performance across a large environment;
  • Managing complex processes and finding ways to make them more efficient;
  • Supporting busy periods such as Black Friday and other sales events, ensuring the system remains available and responsive for end-users.

 

To help address these challenges, AXM365 has been working closely with Manor AG to optimize processes and keep the system running smoothly. Our work covers several areas:

 

  • Improving batch job performance by updating and tuning queries to reduce system load and speed up processing.

 

  • Handling deployments, service updates, and all tasks related to keeping the environments healthy and stable.

 

  • Actively monitoring everything — from batch jobs and AOS servers to SQL database usage and system integrations.

 

  • Resolving technical issues related to batch jobs to ensure data flows and integrations continue without problems.

 

 

Over time, our team has made strong progress by identifying recurring issues, solving them, and documenting every change and error. This helps us spot patterns, prevent future problems, and continuously improve the system.

 

Following Manor AG’s internal processes, we’ve taken full responsibility for all environment deployments and updates. Our proactive approach plays an important role in keeping daily operations stable, especially during busy periods when the system is under the most pressure.

 

AXM365 has become a key partner in Manor AG’s move to a more efficient, modern ERP environment.
